The internal structure of the game is actually an artificial life program based on agents. The game had several subsequent suites The Sims 2 in 2004, The Sims 3 in 2009 and The Sims 4 in 2014.
The original series of The Sims 1 contained a total of seven extensions developed between 20, with extensions that added new elements, characters, masks and features. The development of the game was directed by Will Wright and is a continuation of Wright’s previous SimCity series. It is a simulation of the daily activities of one or more virtual people (the “Sims”) in a house suburban close to a fictional city.
